Aedelgard is an atmospheric black metal project by musicians from Russia and USA, blending elements of nordic folk and melancholic melody. Project was formed in 2024 in Russia by Vitharr, who would later record the instruments and mix the first album. On the first album, he began collaborating with Hræfn, a musician from Arizona, USA, who wrote the lyrics and recorded the vocals. The debut album Natteglimt is a personal journey through frostbitten woods, fading light, and silent introspection. For fans of early Kalmankantaja, and the raw sincerity of ColdWorld - Aedelgard offers a cold yet heartfelt sound rooted in solitude and northern beauty.
