Guadeloupean musician/singer/poet/producer Adolphe Parillon, who also produced the Max Labor's Mamma Said album and Rémy Cabarrus Humming Bird album. "I Paint The Sky" was composed with the help of caribbean jazz unsung hero Marcel-Louis Joseph aka Ti Marcel, or Edouard Labord on sax, with Jacques Fathier on trumpet and french vibraphonist George Berlioz, Max Labor on guitar. Includes the beautiful deepest biguine jazz tune ever "Country 97-1" the killer spiritual "Lorisisque", "Groka" is also superb a mix of poetry and funky rhythms mixed with tambour Ka, while " I paint the Sky" shows how caribbean jazz musicians can easily plays jazz-funk like their american pairs.
