Ado'nis was born as Julmar Simons in Holland on October 2nd 1982. His parents are rom a small island named Curacao (the Netherlands Antilles The Caribean islands). He grew up in the bijlmer (the ghetto of Amterdam) but now lives in Amsterdam North (THC) . He sees his musical talent as a blessing and a gift to speak to the youth, "cause we are the future, we can make a change" (Quote Ado'nis). He has always been a showman, but kept it humble even shy at some times. When he was 8 years old he used to dress up like Micheal Jackson and give shows for neighbours, family and friends. Nobody knew he would grow up to become a rapper.
