Artist
Adeline Troutman is an upcoming indie pop artist with a penchant for sapphic poetry. Her music centers around growing up as a lesbian teen in the south, and the queer coming-of-age experience. Sonically similar to Lana Del Rey, her lyrics are inspired by her early religious upbringing, the beauty of Florida and the gardens she frequents, fantasy, and poets such as Charles Baudelaire and Victor Hugo. Her debut album, @Gardener of Eden features a sound inspired by harmonies in catholic music and Gregorian chants, beats from Lana Del Rey’s album, Ultraviolence, paired with gothic, romantic lyrics written from her own poetry.
