Adelee and Gentry Gates are sisters from Lewisburg, Ohio, now 19 and 16, and have been singing together since they were ages 14 and 11 when they released their first acoustic CD, “Beginnings.” Their genre is a mix of Alternative Pop and their singer/songwriter style have been compared to the likes of Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson and Adele. Their unique, sisterly blend of harmonies and Adelee’s acoustic guitar abilities set them apart from the mainstream. Their time spent in Nashville has given them opportunities to perform in places around the city including the renowned Puckett’s Grocery in Leiper's Fork where they opened for #1 hit songwriters Phil O’Donnell, Wynn Varble and Casey Beathard along with the very famous Bluebird Café in Nashville where artists such as Taylor Swift and Garth Brooks were discovered. These two sisters have spent a lot of time recording in Nashville this past year and just released there CD “Nice to Meet You…” where they kicked off their career as they played a live concert with Nashville musicians in their hometown, drawing 1,000+ people.
