Born in Budapest, Hungary, Adam Balazs began playing the piano at the age of seven. He completed his musical studies at the Bela Bartok Conservatory majoring in Composition. In 1998, in pursuit of his musical career, Adam moved to the United States. Over the past eleven years, he has worked on several film projects as the composer, producer, arranger and music supervisor. As a film composer, Adam's work includes the score for The Butterfly Effect 3: Revelations (Lionsgate US domestic release), themes and additional music for the Secret of Moonacre (WB distribution in the UK) with Ioan Gruffudd and Natascha McElhone, the score for El Camino starring Leo Fitzpatrick, Wes Studi and Elisabeth Moss, The Elephant King starring Ellen Burstyn and Jonno Roberts (Official Selection - Tribeca Film Festival 2006), California Dreaming starring Lea Thompson, Dave Foley and Patricia Richardson, Arizona Seaside, Slingers (“Best Narrative Short” – San Diego Intl.
