about

Acorah are a 5 piece ambient post-hardcore band based in Gloucester, United Kingdom that formed in early 2010 that bring their own distinctive twist to a genre that is attempted by many but perfected by few, deconstructing the typical hardcore structure and putting it back together, weaving hints of electronics and choruses of refreshing clean vocals through a familiar combination of monstrous screams and savage guitar work. Determined not just be another band on the scene; Acorah go that extra mile to stick out as a hardworking and passionate band, this is shown in their live shows, which are an overwhelming fusion of ferocity, melody and charisma. It’s the reputation of these live shows that meant the band were given the chance to support Yashin, The Casino Brawl and The Ocean Between Us, all of whom have a reputation for exceptional live performances. With a forthcoming EP and an expectation to hit the road hard in support of the release, Acorah could well be the next big thing as they push themselves to new and extraordinary heights.
