Achromatic Cold is a musician from Brazil. Cold's first release was the demo EP Lacerate, which was re-released on 2009 by their own label, which featured some Drone-Noise tracks - later re-released on the first solo Album, "Despair". Insubstancial/Smoke (2009) is Cold's the first proper Album, a darkly conceptual work about war, consisting of atmospheric Drone and Noise. It is a colaborative effort with electronic musician akaaka. Recorded during 2009 and released on early 2010, Despair is a conceptual apocalyptic album where Dark Ambient and Drone are the main point, supported by only a few Noise tracks. Lungless is the third proper album, released two months after "Despair". Completely filled of Harsh Noise, with tracks of high-pitched ear-piercing noise, textured-distortion and even a Black Metal influenced song. Existence, Interwoven is their fourth album. Melancholic and weary Dark Ambient, extremely harsh Noise and immersively deep Drone. Cold also plays on the Drone-Doom Metal band, Stjerneheimen.
