There are two bands known as Ace of Hearts. The original Ace of Hearts started to take shape in Alessandria (Italy) in when Antonio Agate and Andrea Buratto decided to join forces and create the band. Antonio and Andrea decided to invite Federico Pennazzato and Gianmaria Saddi. Together they started writing the material for Ace of Hearts' debut work. Whilst working on the tracks, the band started looking for a singer. After four months, the band made contact with a singer from London, Johnny Icon. With Antonio’s keyboards, the guitar playing of Gianmaria, the bass guitar lines of Andrea and Federico’s drums plus the voice of Johnny Icon, Ace of Hearts' produced music in the style of Metallica. They have been silent on their official social media pages since early 2014 and have released no new songs since. The new Ace of Hearts was formed in late 2019 with Jacob Rabon IV, known also as Alpharad due to their successful career on YouTube and his personal friend Luke known as LukeBigGuitar. Their first released song was Fool for You released as a single on April 1st 2020, it was followed closely by the release of the Monophobia EP on June 5th of the same year. Less than a month later on June 1st, Silver Lining was released as a single. Jacob then began to collaborate with his friends Johnny Manchild and the Poor Bastards, Adriana Figueroa and Deanna Gowland to create the Scorpion Queen EP released on December 13th 2020.
