Abyssanctum is a project by Frenchman Rosarius. The birth of Abyssanctum was motivated by a genuine desire to reconnect with the spirit of the Goth 80s. Therefore, images, text and music are all in the same direction: the expansion of forgotten archetypes of the original Gothic culture and symbolic religious unrest and death. Among cold minimalist electronic, drum machines and keyboards Abyssanctum expresses atmospheric sadness, melancholy and anxiety influenced by sadness, resignation, death, fantasy life and covert images of pain. Abyssanctum wants to be the bridge between the French cold wave and the return of music as it was originally.
