Abyssal/Chris Walsh is a lone artist who started to create music in 2011. Unable to use a conventional recording studio due to lack of labels in his hometown, and unable to play any instrument other than a guitar, he recorded all of his songs on his MacBook. He released his first song on Youtube on January 3rd, and released a demo album named "Soul on Fire" on Last.fm only a month and a half later. Born on July 29th, 1994, in St. John's, Canada. He lists Slipknot, Flaw, Five Finger Death Punch, and Psyclon Nine among his influences, however, he listens from everything from Classical to Hip Hop to Industrial, though most of his projects focus on Metal/Industrial.
