Abdolavahab Shahidi was born on 1914 in Meyme(Esfahan) and started his art works from acting , singing and playing barbat in Tehran. Soon his talent was discoverd by Master Banan in National Radia Organization and was invited in radio. Master Shahidi has had lots of different performences as a Barbat player and singer. He has both national and international fame and he is very well known as a talented oud player in Arabic world as well. His singing along Barbat playings are one of a kind and have kept its conection with people throughout generations.
