Abdallah Harati, Brazilian, born in São Paulo – SP state. Raised in Sao Jose dos Campos (country side of Sao Paulo state) and at home, with musician grandparents, there was no way to escape from the traditional and good quality Brazilian music. Uncles and cousins, professional and amateurs musicians, music quality was always at the first place. Begun the music studies since the childhood, starting with flute and piano before the guitar. Studied classical guitar however with lots of influence of the popular Brazilian music – Choro and Samba. During the university in Bauru (country side of Sao Paulo) recorded some radio programs and performed in several concerts opening famous ones like Oswaldo Montenegro and Tom Ze. Awarded at the USP music festival in Bauru in 1995. At this time, part of the Choro Club of Sao Jose dos Campos, performing together with the veteran local artists from the town. Moving to Sao Paulo in 1997, focused in arrangement and compositions besides several performances. Studied in Berklee College of Music in Boston and afterwards in Granada – Spain, digging the old dream of the Flamenco music. Moving out of Brazil in 1999, brought the authentic Brazilian music to Guatemala, El Salvador, Chile, Ecuador, US and Mexico, already with a seven string guitar. In 2001, moved to Sweden performing with several world musicians. Back to Brazil in 2002, moved to Rio de Janeiro, joining the Escola Portatil de Musica (EPM), following the famous Choro Masters as Lucia
