Artist
Abana Ba Nasery, a trio of Kenyan musicians, pioneered an innovative acoustic style in the 1960s and early '70s. They combined a duo of acoustic fingerpicked guitars, three-part harmony, and rhythm created by scraping the ribs of a Fanta bottle with a metal rod. After disbanding, they reunited in 1991 and released The Nursery Boys Go Ahead, recorded while on tour in Europe.
