Aaishah Akram was born on 1st June 1980 in Karachi, Pakistan. She has been composing music and writing lyrics for the last 8 years and has worked with Faakhir on his album 'Mantra', aiding in the composition and lyrics of 'Tauba Hai' and 'Lag Lag'. Her debut album 'Dil-e-Muntazir' was released on 1st October 2008. Her first single from the album 'Beqarar' was released earlier this year and her second single 'Chamya' was released on 30th September 2008.
