There are three artists with the name AWL: 1) AWL, an electronic / techno / new age musician (see also www.last.fm/music/A+W+L) 2) the japanese visual kei band, AWL 3) hardcore punk band from South Korea 1) AWL is an electronic musician who composes primarily in the realms of electronica, new age, techno, dance, and space rock. Piano, digital pads, analog synths, and programmed drum machines combine to produce melodic and rhythmic pieces in the vein of classic artists such as Vangelis, Yanni, and Jean Michel Jarre. AWL’s music has been released since the mid-90s, with several hits. “Mercury Rain” hit the top-25 on the MPulse charts in 1998, while “See Further”, “Testmix”, and “The Key” also charted at the start of the new millennium.
