AK-momo are a music duo from Stockholm, Sweden. The group consists of Anna Karin ('AK') von Malmborg (vocals, Optigan, whistling) and Mattias Olsson (Optigan, mellotron, orchestron). The band formed in July 2003The band recorded the base for the debut album return to N.Y in 6 afternoons writing two songs every time. Then producer Mattias Olssons recorded additional Mellotrons, Optigans and Orchestrons and mixed the album.[1].
