On May 28, 2007 seven long-time members of the group left because of disputes with former lead singer Sergio Gómez, they then formed a new group named AK-7, with stood for "Antes K-Paz" and the number seven for the seven member that left. They released their first album soon after, El Avion de Las Tres. The band's debut album follows their first single of the same name.
