AJ Dorough started his music career in 2011 when he formed a pop punk cover band called Weekend Evidence with his best friend. In 2014, at age 14, AJ left Weekend Evidence to move to Indiana. AJ felt like the musical side of him was lost after he moved. He wants to start a band but nobody would join. Taking some inspiration from independent musician Austin Jones, he started a solo career. He finished a piano cover EP called Not My Own, which was released on June 16, 2015. He also wrote an original single and released it on May 9, 2015. He is moving forward with his music career and plans on making more original songs under the pop punk genre.
