Ben Haschish is the narcotic side project from André, some other projects are Ben Dope, Klaus Bong, John Trawling, The Fountain Boats, Fast Ganz... Each name is used for different stuff, and also to express his overflowing creativity. In the two main solo projects which are Ben Haschish and Ben Dope, André tells us with his accoustic guitar his love for New York and folk music. Many people from the Antifolk movement and also some other friends feature on his recordings. The first tracks of this project outside Herman Düne is a cassette recorded on an answering machine, but today it's quite untraceable. It doesn't really matters, 'cause André is very productive, a few discs are available in the stores, but you can mail him to order some of his records.
