ADN' Ckrystall is the moniker of synth master Erick Moncollin from Toulouse, France, who is a major force in shaping French Synth Wave. Moncollin started experimenting in 1977, using a prototype of the legendary Korg MS-20. His sound is a discordant conglomeration of synthesizers, drum machines and vocals that cradle the edge of the brain. He does not just flap in the face of what is earmarked as the conventional sound of new wave, he tears it asunder.
