(Wikipedia) Abz Love (born Richard Abidin Breen on 29 June 1979) is an English DJ and musician, formerly a singer and rapper in the boy band Five. He attended the Italia Conti Stage School in London before starting his musical career. Besides singing and rapping, Breen was a dancer and plays several instruments. Breen was born in London's East End to Turan, who is Turkish while his mother, Kay, is Irish. After Five disbanded in September 2001 after nearly five years, Breen became the only band member to release a solo album, Abstract Theory and had three Top 10 hits in the UK singles chart. He was a surprise guest on the ITV reality television show, Love Island in August 2006 for five days, and was criticised by TV presenter Patrick Kielty about speaking with a Jamaican accent . On 27 September 2006 it was announced that only four of the five members of the band would be reforming - J, Abz, Ritchie & Scott. Sean Conlon is pursuing a solo career. Despite being only a band of four they kept the name Five. The band also announced that they would be releasing a new album and were planning a tour. Having recorded half an album, Five disbanded again on 19 May 2007 due to not getting a record deal. Abz then went on to change his name to Abz Love as of 17 September 2008 and is embarking on a return to music.
