A.S. Fanning is an Irish musician living in Berlin. He is described as a gothic folk singer-songwriter with a distinctive baritone singing voice. In 2015 he released his single Carmelita, followed by his first album Second Life on Proper Octopus Records in 2017. His second album You Should Go Mad was released in 2020. Live appearances are either solo in classic singer-wongwriter manner or with a full band, like on his studio recordings. Further musical projects are collaborations with Candice Gordon, Louis Brennan, Stefan Murphy and Perlee.
