A.C. Marias was a British alternative duo consisting of Angela Conway (vocals, lyrics) and Bruce Gilbert (guitar, production). The group is connected to the similar post-punk band Wire, Gilbert having been the band's guitarist. Conway and Gilbert formed the duo in 1980 and released on single, "Drop" b/w "So", before falling inactive. The pair re-activated the project in 1986, and issued three further singles and the full length LP "One Of Our Girls Has Gone Missing" (1989).
