about

AID was born in Barcelona. After a few months of rehearsals, they recorded their first demo, “Terror Starts at Home” followed by a few months of playing around to introduce themselves to the local scene. After a few changes in the band’s line-up, in June 2007 they recorded their first album “Live to Tell”, mastered by Alan Douches from West West Side (Producer of Thrice, Sick of it All, Against Me! and many more) in the USA. The record, with its 12 tracks, showed a new sound, widening their horizons and influences, an eclectic record combining melodies, speed and rage. After two years touring and playing around the country along bands like Strung Out, Death by Stereo or This is a Standoff, the band enters the studio again, to record their second album: Beyond Belief. A more elaborated album, with a sound that matches the band’s expectations. 13 tracks that are the13 chapters of a story about effort and personal growth. The band faces 2010 with renewed energies and great expectations. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
