It was just Lennart (bass) and Bernd (guitar), both listening to eachother and maybe trying some covers, like nothing else matters by Metallica. When Jesse joined the band as rythm guitarist, they started writing songs. Their influences at that time were Rancid, NOFX and other stuff like that, so the songs sounded quite punky. Off course, they were still in need of a drummer... Lennart and Bernd had this classmate, Ramses, and this guy said "ohh I'll drum..." and he did. It only took him a few months to buy a drum and start lessons, but he drummed. But the band was stuck, because Lennart and Jesse discovered that Bernd wasn't too talented, so soon Bernd left the band. Total Inversion continued writing songs and on May 29th in the year 2004 they had their first performance in the backyard of a friend. They evolved a lot since then and in the summer of 2005, Eva joined the band as 2nd guitarist and they changed the name into "A Vibe". Things didn't work out with Eva too, so she left as well.
