A Subtle Nightmare was a band form West Middlesex, Pennsylvania. Formed in 2006 by a group of high school friends, they set out to make some great punk music. All novices at their instruments when beginning the group developed quickly. THe original line up consisted of Tom Vaughn and Josh Watkins on guitars, Kyle Hill on bass, and Roland Lewis on drums. Watkins also performed the vocals when the group formed. Soon after the formation of the band the line up changed, moving Roland to vocals as Josh left the band. Seth Zagger was introduced on drums. This would become the bands mainstay line up for a while. The group recorded their first EP, "Trims Your Lawn" in 2008 south of Pittsburgh. As the band mates went on their respectively different ways the following fall they would reunite the summers following. Eventually Mike McPheron replaced Kyle Hill on the bass untile the bands permanent hiatus in 2011.
