A Rise (And Fall) Of a Dilapidated Home is an emo revival/midwest emo project from Bellefontaine, Ohio started by Thatcher Stevens. The main influences of the band are bands like Empire! Empire! (I Was A Lonely Estate), Midwest Pen Pals/Merchant Ships and Mallard. In December of 2021, A Rise And Fall released the debut EP Oldish Songs. There is now a full length hopefully coming soon, as well as a few splits along the way. Thatcher was also in the Post Rock group Riot Baby. Thatcher now is in a band called Forktail. The band is now based out of Milwaukee, WI.
