Times are good for the storytellers, A Letter Home has lived up to their reputation and maintained their blend of up-tempo pop-punk and folk. After supporting bands like Moke (NL), Danny Vera (NL), Ewert and The Two Dragons (Estonia), the band has had one hell of a year. With the feeling of going in the right direction, the feel-good-folkers were privileged enough to open Pedro Pico Pop Festival in 2012, as well as ripping it up at the UIT! Festival 2012 in Leeuwarden. The band also made a prominent appearance in Germany, rocking out the city of Bonn and reaping the success of playing to new and diverse audiences. With songs like “I Made It Back”, “Sailing Away” and the powerful “In The Gutter”, the band shows their diverse style, which is influenced by folk, pop, country and punk. The kind of songs that stick in your head and make you want to sing along until your voice is gone. This, coupled with honest lyrics and a “play-till-you-drop” ethos, makes A Letter Home an energetic live band with a promising future. The band has played over 100 shows within two years and show no sign of slowing down.
