A German Spectacle were a hardcore/screamo band from Brisbane, Australia, influenced by the likes of Saetia, Orchid and a general love of playing fast and getting angry at stuff. They formed in May of 2007 as a two-piece, and after trying out a few drummers chose Kane Parsell, also of the local screamo band Orlacs Hande in early September of the same year. After playing two shows with the band and recording one 4-song release with their good friend Wil, Kane parted ways with A German Spectacle in December of 2007. Over the span of two years the band played 6 shows and had 3 different drummers, before ultimately calling it a day during their last show in the latter half of 2009 upon the departure of their final drummer, Tom.
