about

Farewell Rescue was founded in 2004 on a collective passion for writing and playing original music. Financing their first recordings themselves, they were able to build a strong local following in their hometown of Northumberland, PA. In 2007 they signed with Snapdragon Records for the release of their debut full-length album “Never Meet Your Heroes,” selling over 5,000 copies. In 2010, after years of touring the country, a more mature Farewell Rescue self-released “Radio Deadly,” a much anticipated EP of songs showcasing their classic hooks and catchy lyrics mixed with a darker, heavier sound. Composed of lead vocalist Joey Heid, guitarists Johnny Peifer and Max Keeley, bassist Josh Kerstetter and drummer Jordan Rhoads, Farewell Rescue continues to bleed new music and perform their infectious live sets across the country. Catch them on tour, near you. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
