A Farewell Momento are a metalcore band from Brisbane, Australia. AFM officially formed in early 2009 as a 6 piece but have since undergone a handful of personnel changes and have cut their numbers down to 5. They are a notable member of the burgeoning Brisbane hardcore scene having played shows with the likes of Armada in the Dusk, Rise for November, Burn Down Hollywood, This City Ignites and Headwound the Pony. In early 2010 the AFM track 'Love and Lightning' was featured on 'Punk Kills vol. 12', a compilation released by US label 272 Records. 2010 also saw AFM make the final of the annual LOUD Band Competition. Their debut EP tentatively titled 'The Beginning of a New Existence' is scheduled to be available by October of 2010.
