A dream Asleep is a Hardcore band from Houston Texas. Combining influences of Punk, Metal, Southern Rock, Indie Rock and many others A dream Asleep creates a heart pounding sound that fuels the energy packed live performance. Erik Girth and Ryan Girth were born and raised in Las Vegas Nevada and moved to Houston in their late teens. Mike Seals, Justin Smith and Aaron Perez all grew up in Houston. A dream Asleep formed in early 2006 with Ryan and Erik’s old band PM Theory. Most of the members of PM Theory first started A dream Asleep with Aaron Perez on drums as the only new member. The old singer of A dream Asleep had to leave the band for personal reasons and A dream Asleep shortly found a new singer in their old PM Theory videographer and friend Mike Seals. Justin Smith had played guitar for A Royal Tragedy, which had disbanded. He shortly after came on board to make what is now A dream Asleep.
