The first night that Uxoria... tried to kill himself saw a cloud in the sky forming a circle around the moon. Lying on the train tracks and looking the natural phenomenon, he decided to wake up and show the feelings of pain that tortured him everyday. A Cloud in Circle was born in april of 2008 but in that moment the project was born with drones and dark ambient’s sounds, then he brought to light "Circles" (a demo with 6 tracks) but he wasn't happy with the results. Uxoria… got to work in something new with big influences of bands such as Equimanthorn, Moëvöt, Profane Grace, Vinterriket, Northaunt, etc. so “Desolate Desperation from Paradise” was born. Uxoria... saw that their projects (A Cloud in Circle and Uxor Mortis) had something in common, then he created the split “Our Prayers” where everybody could see the first touch of Depressive Black Metal in A Cloud in Circle. "Mountains in the Sky" was released the same year. In 2009 A Cloud in Circle released “Behind the Light” the first demo made inside the Depressive Black Metal’s line. This demo(n) includes a Burzum's cover, "Illa Tidandi", that in a instant becomes one of the songs most played of this project. Time passed by and “La Tristesse” and “Depression’s Suicide” were released. At the end of the year, Uxoria… decides to create a “Demo Joke” very ironic about Christmas and New Year… “Suicide at the End of December” that contains holiday’s folk songs but with a sinister lyrics about suicide.
