1. A quartet from "History's Hometown", Auburn, New York. Their songs have been described as “barnstormers”, “simple stabs at precious pop”, with a “rough and ready sonic immediacy.” Since 2010, they’ve recorded seven albums. Formed in 1996 by former college mates Mark Allen Holt & Michael Mroziak. Keith Beilmeier joined in March 1998. Several others have participated as guest voices, while two were "full timers" for at least one album. ACOT released its first CD independently in 1997, "Please Buy This CD". ACOT signed with mp3.com (USA) in 1999, and released two more CD's, "Broadcasting: The Absolute Truth", and "A Radio Christmas Card". In November 2000, the troupe released its fourth CD, "Misanthropy: A Love Story". The troupe's fifth CD, "All Things Contorted", was released in December 2003. In 2007, A Cast Of Thousands signed with The Mad Music Archive to distribute their entire catalog online. You can find them at http://www.themadmusicarchive.com.
