4TEN (포텐), briefly known as POTEN, was a three-member South Korean girl group under Jungle Entertainment. The final lineup consisted of members Hyeji (혜지), Heeo (히오), and Hyejin (혜진). The group's former members are Tem (탬), Eujin (유진), Hajeong (하정), and Yun (윤). The group was initially unveiled through M.I.B's official Facebook page, sharing the news of their sister group's debut. They debuted on August 26, 2014 with the single "토네이도 (Tornado)". 4TEN returned in 2015 with their follow up single "왜 이래 (Why)". Following the release of "Why", members Tem and Eujin were announced to be leaving the group. Three new members were then added to the group: Heeo, Yun, and Hajeong. The addition of the new members led the name of the group to become nonsensical, as the group had five members. This led Jungle Entertainment to change the name of the group to POTEN, as the pronunciation is similar to 4TEN in the Korean language. The group released their first single as POTEN, "살살해 (Go Easy)", on July 3, 2015. The single was a commercial failure and member Hajeong soon left the group. The group's name was then changed back to 4TEN to support the new 4 member line up. The group released their first mini album "JACK OF ALL TRADES" on February 23, 2016, with the lead single, "지독하게 (Dreadful)", which became their most successful song since their debut. On March 13, 2018, 4TEN opened a Makestar project to fund their next single album. The project ended on June 18, 2018, raising ￦8,280,971,
