40Ringz is an alias of the American musician and artist, Quincy Denham. His music draws from many different musical influences; in particular, video games, jazz, rock, and pop. His musical experiences shaped by influences and his time with instruments, he began composing his own music around 2004, using a Yamaha Motif ES8 production keyboard to get down his ideas. It was in 2008 that he first picked up FL Studio, and since then he has used it to compose and produce electronic music of all types. Stylistically, 40Ringz is very influenced by genres of dance music in the early 00s. Releases are inspired by hip hop, drum and bass, dubstep, house, electro, and experimental electronic music.
