After only a short time in the limelight of the Hamilton Music Scene, 40 Sons And Daughters have shared the stage with such headlining bands as Ozzy Ozbourne, Black Label Society, System of a Down, Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, Atreyu, and others. The formation of 40 Sons And Daughters began in the spring of 2004 when Cristiano Andreatta, Mike Szpakowski, and Graeme Hawkins joined together to form three quarters of what would become the band. They auditioned several vocalists until finally finding the missing piece - Mike Repic. Without hesitation, they recorded their self-titled demo after gaining a live reputation across Hamilton. The demo was widely accepted by fellow musicians and fans and also earned them a spot on the Top 20 Indie bands list on Triple X Hardcore Radio, as well as Track of the Day, Best Guitars, Best Vocals, Best Drums, Best Bass, and several other honours from the acclaimed Garageband.com. The band also has two songs continually rocketing up the Hard Rock and Alternative Rock charts on Garageband.com. With a solid demo to support, 40 Sons And Daughters began once again playing at numerous venues and meeting many people until they decided that it was time to give their growing number of fans what they had been waiting for. 40 Sons And Daughters returned to the studio only a few months after the release of their demo to begin work on their brand new 7 song E.P. which was released April 7, 2006.
