With the new artist name 169, Mio Negga is releasing his first full-length album in Julev Sámi. The record 'Balodagá' will be released in different parts and Balodagá Pt. 1 is out the 5th of February on Negga's record label Petrichord Records. The album is the most explosive material yet for Negga to release. More honest, more personal and more political. On the album, we find songs with a message of strength, hope, social criticism and one love song. The sound is more soulful and sunnier than before. We hear new, experimental influences, gritty kicks with a hiphop flavor and deep, oscillating bass. Negga has packaged his hit pop in a lower tempo, with a dubby groove in the core - leaving more space for reflection. Balodagá is a modern, electronic pop album, where we get to know Negga better through the new artist project.
