12v Negative Earth is a metal band based in Nashville, TN. Formed 3 years ago, the four-piece band consists of Jason Carroll on vocals, Cody McCall on guitar and vocals, Toomey on bass and Richie Kohler on drums. Since forming in 1996, they have opened for such national acts as Limp Bizkit, The Urge, Stuck Mojo, Earth Crisis, Downset and Drown. 12v Negative Earth has toured as far away from home as New York City, St Louis, New Orleans and Phoenix. In May of 1999 they played at Nashville River Stages with such national acts like Hole and Everclear. Their major musical influences consist of Faith No More, Janes Addiction, Fear Factory, Bad Brains, Metallica, Bad Religion and Helmet. In March 1999, they released their debut album, 'Where Did All the Sunshine Go?.' Their music has been played on Nashville's 102.9 The Buzz and WRVU 91.1 as well as on college radio around the country. Their album has been reviewed in such publications as the Tennessean, the Nashville Scene, Blast Magazine and Metal Maniacs Magazine.
