1. December consists of five more or less stable members - stable in the molecular sense, not the psychological one. Fittingly, the group was born on the first of December many moons ago - as it happens, actually it was about a dozen years ago this year. The experience of listening to 1. December has sometimes been compared to an unwelcome assgrab from a stranger's hand in a ticket que. The style varies from experimental techno through catchy pop tunes to just about anything else. In general, anything goes, and as such it is hard to put a moniker on the band. Either you like it or you don't, but you're not going to find it by doing genre searches. The band has recently bought a monkey, a Bonnet Macaque named Edmond, quite small for its species and not as cheeky as you might expect.
