1/2H 1/2W was a Latvian experimental collective from Rīga, Latvia, active from 2005 to 2019. The five-piece existed mainly as a live project, with their shows seeing them improvise with a shifting array of instruments to create sounds. Seizing on that improvisatory basis for their debut record, Black Pelvic Fluids (2018), the group fold in elements of free jazz and electronic music amongst the black metal and noise influences that form the key basis of their work.
