0800 Ragu were a group of four young lads from Waaakefield attempting to stave off the ever nearing prospect of the real world, clinging desperately to their fading childhood by way of the "punk-pop" song. Originally inspired by "pioneers" such as blink-182 and Green Day, over four years the groups influences steadilly diversified and grew to accomodate a wider variety of groups like Alkaline Trio and NoFX. Having wowed fives and tens of people within a 15 mile radius the members eventually decided to be boring and get jobs/go to university. Though dormant for the last two years, the spectre of the once great 0800 Ragu looms large over the art of noise, threatening to rear its ugly head once more and reclaim Emley from the wrench of its evil hoardes.
