Louisville, KY, September 2, Louisville based heavy rock band (intheclear) recently released their debut EP, Dirty Cheese and The Hoodie Thieves EP, which was recorded with acclaimed producer Malcolm Springer (Full Devil Jacket, Greenwheel, Sinch). Springer was able to capture the energy and passion of (intheclear)’s live show, which has been the band’s trademark since forming in 2003. “One of the most talented and intense live acts I have ever witnessed on stage. Absolute raw energy.” says John Johans of Fifth Tier Entertainment Dirty Cheese and the Hoodie Thieves EP is a 6-song collection that combines the sheer vocal power and songwriting depth of lead vocalist Andy Paul, along with the aggressive yet emotive backing of guitarist Clay Cook, bassist Corey Heim, drummer John Stemmle and lead guitarist Brandon Sidebottom. With songs like “True”, “A Pulse and a Blindside”, and “Love, Chinese Style”, (intheclear) is clearly a young band on the verge of some big things. Musically they are most often compared to A Perfect Circle, Deftones, Sevendust, Taproot, and Incubus, but the band’s influences are drawn from a wider scope that includes U2, Joe Satriani and Jeff Buckley.
