화난곰 (Angry Bear) 2008 ~ Present [Members] Scott Prince KC Swink Patrick Connor David Dean Hibernating Members: Ian Chiasson Angry Bear is a four-piece band based in Seoul, South Korea. The band’s style of music fits loosely within the alternative rock genre and mixes elements of both British and American rock, owing to their members’ origins. The band has written and recorded 3 studio albums. The most recent record, ‘III’, was released in early 2014. Angry Bear has built their reputation by playing regularly in Hongdae’s indie clubs, in and around Seoul, elsewhere on the peninsula (such as Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, Jeonju, etc.), and even in Tokyo, Japan. The group has made several music festival appearances, most notably Green Groove Festival (Boryeong), Jarasum International Jazz Festival, and Gyeongpodae International Rock Festival in Gangneung. The band was even hand-picked to support the international acts, The Two Gallants, and Jeffrey Lewis when they toured Korea. Two videos have been made to support the albums. The first one, for 'No Mind', a song off of the 2nd album, centers around a bear living in the city. The second one, for 'Separation', a track off the most recent album, features a montage of stop-motion shots of Seoul and the band. In 2014, Angry Bear intend to continue moving forward by steadily increasing their on-stage experience and broadening their fan base. With any luck, the creation process will continue unhindered and a 4th album will ar
