Shin Ji-min (지민; born January 8, 1991), better known by her stage name Jimin, is a South Korean singer and rapper. She is best known for being the leader and main rapper of the girl group AOA, which debuted in 2012 under FNC Entertainment. In 2015, Jimin was a semi-finalist in the first season of Unpretty Rapstar. During the show, she released several successful singles, most notably "시작이 좋아 2015", "T4SA", and "Puss (feat. 아이언)". Jimin debuted as a soloist on March 3, 2016 with the single "야 하고 싶어 (Feat. 시우민 of EXO)". The song featured Xiumin of EXO. A year and a half later, Jimin released her second single "할렐루야 (Hallelujah)" as part of a collaboration with W Korea. The song is latin-influenced, and aims to show off Jimin's various colors.
