Jung Hoseok (born February 18, 1994), better known by his stage name, J-Hope. He is a South Korean rapper, singer, dancer, music composer, and songwriter. He is a member of the South Korea hip-hop boy band, Bangtan Boys (also known as 방탄소년단), formed by the Big Hit Entertainment. The group debuted on June 12, 2013, with their single No More Dream. J-hope was born on February 18, 1994 in Gwangju. He attended Gwangju Global High School, a dance academy known for producing idols such as 동방신기's 유노윤호 and Big Bang's 승리. J-Hope was the first to be introduced as a member of 방탄소년단, along with 민윤기 and Rap Monster. J-Hope, Suga & Rap Monster, have composed and written the lyrics to all of the songs from their first mini-album, 2 Cool 4 Skool, as well as their second album, O!Rul8,2?.
