옥상달빛, Okdal or Dalmoon, as they are better known, is a South Korean indie folk duo. The band's line-up consists of 김윤주(keyboard, guitar, vocals) and 박세진(xylophone, vocals). They made their debut with an EP, "옥탑라됴", in 2010, released on the record label Magic Strawberry Sound. Their self-titled song, 옥상달빛, was used as a soundtrack in the drama "Pasta". In 2011, their song 곰인형 was also used for the drama, "My Princess". Recently they released their first album called "28". Over the years, they have released multiple albums, including the full-length albums, Where (2013), and 40 (2024), as well as EPs and singles like RE:TAG (2016) and Still a Child (2020). They are also celebrated for their engaging live performances and frequent radio appearances, including Kim Yoon-ju’s stint as a DJ on MBC FM4U’s Blue Night. Originally under Magic Strawberry Sound, Okdal joined Wowsan Records (founded by Kim Yoon-ju) in 2025, continuing their journey as a timeless voice of comfort and authenticity in the Korean music scene.
