Airy (에어리) is a Seoul-based singer-songwriter and producer known for her atmospheric, melancholic sound that blends hazy electronics with clear, emotive vocals. She first gained attention in the underground scene with her 2018 debut EP, SEEDS, which was centered primarily around guitar-driven melodies and ambient field recordings. Following a seven-year hiatus during which she focused on personal recovery and artistic evolution, Airy returned in late 2024 with her first full-length album, B,U.D (an acronym for Broken, Unapt. Dazzle). The record marks a significant shift in her production, moving from acoustic foundations to digital audio workstation (DAW) experimentation, incorporating virtual instruments, "sing-rap," and complex vocal layering. Her work is characterized by an "honest ambiguity," exploring themes of mental health, social isolation, and the search for beauty within brokenness. She has collaborated with notable artists such as eAeon, Pishu, and Livigesh.
