심은진 (Shim, Eun-Jin) is a singer in South Korea, most famous for her time when she was part of the popular girl quintet, Baby VOX. Baby VOX had been going through several changes early on in its existance, due to the failure of the first album. Shim, Eun-Jin was added alongside Kan MiYeon in hopes of promoting a more cutesy girl group, which was more popular at the time (SES, Fink.Kl, etc). Shim, Eun-Jin's role in Baby VOX was supposed to be the boyish one, so her hair was cut in short styles and she was often dressed like a tomboy. Despite the fact that EunJin never thought of herself as very boyish. EunJin was often accused of having a "fake face" because there wasn't any obvious blemishes and people thought of her to have had surgery. That, however, is unture. With their second album, BABY VOX II, they did much better hitting #7 on the charts, but were were met with scandal when one of their members turned out to be much older. After a series of successful albums and the mixed reception of their seventh album, Shim, Eun-Jin found herself disagreeing with many of the decisions that Baby VOX's record label was making. Rumors of a departure floated for a time till finally it happened. In late 2004 Shim, Eun-Jin officially left Baby VOX in hopes of starting up her own solo career.
